Almost all popular phone brands manufactured after 2002 support customizable ringtones, including well-known brands such as Nokia, Siemens, Samsung, Panasonic and others...

What if my phone is not listed on your site?
Please check your phone owner's manual. If it supports MIDI format of polyphonic ringtones you can choose "Other Model" option and download a ringtone to your phone.
How many Ringtones can I carry in my phone?
Older phones have only one memory slot available for a customizable ringtone, but the latest models have up to five. If your phone has only one customizable slot, each time you download a new ringtone, it will replace the previous one if you decide to keep it.
In other phones, the number of customizable ringtone memory slots varies. Check your owner's manual.
How to make sure that I can use your service?

What formats/standards of wireless media do you support?
JoyFone provides support to polyphonic ringtones in MIDI format, animated wallpapers in GIF89A format and mobile Java games complient with MIDP-1.0 specification.
What are Java games?
Java games are games that are written using a Java programming standard. The games are now more
interactive and can support rich colour graphics and sounds, making the gaming experience on your
mobile phone a much more fun.
What must I do or have before I can download a Java game?
To download a game, you must:
> Be an active mobile subscriber of WAP service.
> Own a Java enabled mobile phone
> Configure your mobile phone settings for Java.
What are the charges that I have to pay for downloading a game?
There is no extra charge for downloading a game. Once user payed a subscription fee there is no limitations or extra fees required for media files downloads.

On the average, it takes less than a minute if the game file size is less than 100KB. However, it may take a while longer if the game file size is bigger.

Yes, you can upload your own files or choose wallpapers, ringtones and Java games shared by other JoyFone members. Follow upload instructions.
What is MMS Gallery?
MMS Gallery is a JoyFone site feature that allows people to send MMS messages from their
mobile phones containing text, images/photos, sound files and movie clips so they will
be stored and presented on the web. Each subscriber has their own MMS Gallery page with
only their postings on. JoyFone users can share their MMS messages with friends or make them
visible to all site visitors in the MMS blog.
The advantage of the MMS Gallery posting method is that the operator cannot
charge anything for it but the WAP traffic costs.
What is MMS?
MMS stands for Multimedia Messaging Service. In short it is the successor of
SMS (Short Message Service) with the enhancements that you can not only send
text but basically any content type your phone can handle such as images, text,
videos, ring tones and audio clips.
How much do I have to pay for MMS Gallery?
This service is free for active JoyFone subscribers: they can send and receive
unlimited number of messages as soon as total size of stored media doesn't
exceed 5 Mb. Any registered user can send and store only one MMS message.
Do I need a phone with camera to use MMS Gallery?
In order to send your own messages you need to have a camera phone or MMS-compatible
phone. You can also receive and store messages from your friends who have MMS-compatible
phones, just provide them with instructions on how to use this service.
How to use MMS messaging service?
In order to send and store MMS messages you have to ensure that your phone
supports MMS messaging and your operator has not blocked external MMS servers. Follow
simple instructions to start sending and storing MMS messages:
1. Set the phone's MMSC (may also be labeled Service Center, MMS Center, or MMS
Server) to http://joyfone.com/app/portal/mms.aspx
2. In the message "To" or "Recepient" field provide registered JoyFone user name (or
user@joyfone.com).
What is MMS blog?
MMS blog is a web page that presents public MMS messages and comments posted by site visitors. JoyFone
users have a choice to keep their MMS messages private, share them with their fiends or make it visible
to anyone visiting JoyFone site via MMS blog. Only registered users can post their comments in the MMS blog.
